The Chambry street called Rue Basse du Castle is an example of the most unique and charming spots in the town and it is strongly recommended that visitors take their time to explore it in detail, though in 2001 a fire devastated a crucial part of it. Another fascinating place to visit in Chambry is the Castle of Chambry, which was the main residence of the Ducs de Savoie and offers a particularly appealing architectural structure to see.
